Carlton Township Supervisor Randy Willie, Carlton Mayor Mike Soderstrom, Representative Mike Sundin, Senator Jason Rarick, County Commissioner Mark Thell, Township Board Chair Diane Felde-Finke. In the background is Carlton's water tower, Thank you! Twin Lakes Township Water Distribution Project from which water will be flowing to a portion of Twin Lakes Township The recently passed state bonding bill included $7.5 million for the Twin Lakes Township Water Distribution Project. This is an exciting and historic event for Twin Lakes Township and the City of Carlton. We have been working together for twenty years to provide water to the Highway 210/Olsonville area, where there has been inadequate supply as well as poor water quality. Now plenty of quality water will flow to these homes and businesses. The Township Board extends sincere thanks to Senator Jason Rarick, Representative Mike Sundin, County Commissioner Mark Thell, and adviser Reid LeBeau. The Town Board could not have imagined gaining this very needed boost of grant money without their help. They educated us; they encouraged us; they saw the need and worked hard to make it happen. The Township Board also wishes to express our thanks and gratitude to the City of Carlton's Council, Mayor Mike Soderstrom, Public Works Superintendent Derek Wolf, Clerk/Treasurer Carol Conway, and Joint Powers Board Chair Kitty Bureau. The water distribution project would not have moved forward without the City's partnership with the Township.
